Descendants of Robert Ames (Eames)

Robert Ames (Eames) was certainly not the immigrant ancestor of this line.  Thus far, his parentage has not been discovered. (George H. Smith, Goss Ancestry)  The name was originally Eames, but changed to Ames after only a couple of generations.

Generation No. 1

Robert¹ Eames, b. ca. 1641, d. 22 July 1693 at Boxford, MA.  He married Rebecca Blake in 1661.  Rebecca Blake, daughter of George Blake and Dorothy, born 6 Feb. 1641, d. 8 May 1721.
